Destinies Biomass Energy and Farming PTY (Ltd) is a recently established company with the aim of transforming waste materials into valuable resources. Our current focus project is to generate organic wastes into renewable energy through biogas production.
Biogas is a type of biofuel combustible gas, which is produced naturally from the fermentation of organic wastes through micro bacterial digestion in the anaerobic digesters. It is a renewable and green energy resources, which can be used for cooking, lighting and generating electricity.

DEFINITION
Biogas is a combustible gas, a byproduct of biomass which is produced through micro bacterial digestion of variety organic materials from animal, agricultural, industrial and domestic wastes, which take place in absence of oxygen inside the anaerobic digester.
It contains methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2) as main gases component in a ratio of 3:2.
Biogas is environmentally friendly and a renewable energy source which can be used for cooking, heating, lighting and powering engines for machineries.
Biomethane is a colourless and odourless gas with a boling point of -162 ̇C and it burn with a blue flame. Biomethane can be compressed and used as vehicle fuel and fuel cells.
Therefore biogas production is an important tool against climate change as it mitigates the emission of greenhouse gases both by capturing methane emitted from traditional organic waste management.
